About the Client

Voices of Wellness (VOW) is a collective of experts who seek to provide insights and leadership to support the growth and health of our communities - both in business and personal.

Areas of focus include environmental, mental and emotional health, physical fitness, society, and spirituality. Through their magazine, podcast, blog they share their expertise to our community.

About the Project

VOW is a new not-for-profit organizing the wants to create a safe and welcoming space for people to share their stories and learn about their community and well-being. We worked with VOW to create that space.

Logo Design

The VOW logo was designed to represent our connection with nature and the earth. The icon is a symbol showing the growing rings of a tree. This simple, hand-drawn design partnered a serif font adds the right amount of character to best showcase the brand.

Colour

This colour palette was uniquely designed to stand out from competitors. As most brands in the same unique use nature inspired colours like green and blue, we wanted to use something more uncommon. Still using a natural blue and cream base, we brought in two vibrant orange shades to add extra contrast and warmth.

Colour Theory:
Light Blue - peaceful, calm, trustworthy, reliable
Orange - enthusiasm, fascination, creativity, attraction, success, encouragement

  • Website Design

    VOW website was created using Squarespace. This platform allowed for multiple user access, simple customization, and needed platform integrations. The simple layout was designed for an easy user experience and room to build.

  • Social Media

    Custom social media graphics, content creations, and profile set-up and optimization was done during the website design process. This gave our team the opportunity to promote the construction of the brand. A social media strategy was created outlining the target audience, platform analysis, content pillars, competitors analysis, and more.

  • Magazine (Coming Soon)

    VOW magazine will be released at the beginning of each season. These issues will feature articles related to wellness, sustainability, finances, health, community, and more. The layout design for these issues have been created for digital and print.
