About the Client
Divine Food Solutions, in partnership with P&A African Food International Ltd, specializes in producing, processing, and packaging a diverse range of premium African ethnic foods. Operating under the esteemed Precious™ brand, the company celebrates the rich culinary heritage of Africa with products like Canned Palm Cream Concentrate and Plantain Fufu Flour, meticulously crafted to reflect authentic flavors and quality. Central to their mission is a commitment to empowering farmers through comprehensive training and ongoing support, ensuring sustainable and secure sourcing of high-quality raw materials. This farm-to-factory approach guarantees the freshness, integrity, and authenticity of every product, creating a seamless connection between tradition and taste for their valued customers
About the Project
A comprehensive brand refinement was undertaken to align Divine Food Solutions’ passion-driven vision with the functional needs of their industry. Respecting their attachment to the original founder-designed brand, we meticulously rebuilt their icon from scratch using a detailed grid, resulting in a polished, professional evolution. Key deliverables included designing a website on Squarespace, crafting business cards, and developing a cohesive social media strategy with templates tailored to their lean start-up team. We also implemented email marketing, which served dual purposes: streamlining order-taking processes for new retailers and enhancing their marketing efforts.
Meeting the critical launch deadline for their first product shipment, our team also devised an Instagram grid strategy to simplify content planning and execution. These efforts equipped Divine Food Solutions with a robust and scalable marketing foundation to support their big dreams and ambitious growth plans.
Working closely with Divine’s owner, our Fractional CMO provided strategic marketing support, ensuring all assets were aligned with business goals and timelines.

Brand & Visual Identity
“With the type system being the most literal form of communication; we chose to lean into the trust and assuredness of Divine's shipping and transport. Reminiscent of mid-century industrial, the Divine type system proclaims consistency and punctuality.
Colour can be a double edged sword in the food industry. Our goal with Divine was to take what they aspire to be in the coming years and accurately represent that in the present. We chose colours that are declarative yet also all found in the produce aisle. While also having two primary tones of a sunset we began heavily leaning into a bold yet natural direction. Right down to the "black" and "white" being derivatives of the Flame Red—because as we know there is no true white or black in nature.”

The website for Divine Food Solutions was designed on Squarespace to create a simple, user-friendly, and branded online presence. The site acts as a central platform to highlight their dedication to providing a diverse range of African ethnic foods to the Canadian market, showcasing products that celebrate the rich culinary heritage of Africa and embody their tagline, "Where tradition meets quality in every bite."
Special features include a dedicated product page with room to expand as their line grows and a retailer locator page powered by an embedded Elfsight map widget, helping consumers find locations to purchase their offerings. To meet current operational needs, we created a wholesale order form for retailers while ensuring the site is ready for future e-commerce functionality.
Looking ahead, a blog will be added to share recipes, company news, and announcements. Every design choice was tailored to reflect Divine Food Solutions’ values and position them for growth, offering a professional yet approachable platform for their wholesale and retail audiences.

We developed a comprehensive social media and content strategy for Divine Food Solutions - Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn profiles. A visually cohesive Instagram grid was designed on Canva, that showcased the strategy. Customizable Canva templates were provided, along with training to empower their team to manage social media effectively. This strategy ensures Divine Food Solutions has a strong and professional presence across platforms while staying manageable for their lean start-up team.

Integrated with MailChimp, the order form also functions as a sales CRM, streamlining operations while nurturing customer relationships. A welcome email journey further enhances engagement, ensuring new subscribers feel connected and informed from the start.
